He began with a fundamental question “What matters?” and guided students through the composition, properties, and changes of matter. From the story of the Big Bang to atoms, elements, chemical reactions, and molecular bonds, the session transformed complex scientific ideas into an engaging narrative.
Through a simple yet powerful demonstration observing how water changes colour when tea leaves are added students witnessed chemical change in action. The learning deepened as they built molecular bond shapes themselves, experiencing hands-on scientific exploration with enthusiasm and curiosity.
At AUW Laboratory School, we are proud to create a bridge between school education and higher academia. With university faculty members leading sessions, our students gain early exposure to advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and real scientific inquiry shaping confident learners for the future.
